About the charity

Crookham Almshouse Charity is a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO), registered with the Charity Commission.  The charity owns Cottrell Court, comprising sixteen one bedroom flats nestled between Christ Church and the war memorial in Church Crookham.  Fourteen of the flats are single occupancy and two are for two people.

The objects of the charity are:

• Provision and maintenance of almshouses for those in need in the District of Hart, Hampshire, with a preference for residents of Crookham Village, Ewshot, Church Crookham, Fleet Courtmoor, Fleet Pondtail and Fleet West;

• Provision of low cost almshouse accommodation to local residents in need
